Brands! Brands! Brands!

Whatever happened to the term : 'Live within your means'? We chase after expensive brands as if we actually NEED them to breath. What point are we trying to prove though? Coz sometimes you'll see a chick with a Louis Vuitton handbags, but travels in mini bus taxis! Or a guy who only wears expensive shoes but has an empty fridge at home. Like WTF? That says a lot about you, in ways you can never imagine. Just doesn't make sense to me. Why spend more that you can afford?

Personally, if I haven't made something myself, I buy what looks good on me. Whether it's expensive or cheap. If I can afford it at the time, then it's all systems go! No brand is worth me, living in debt for the rest of my life. For reals! But hey, that's just me.

Just ask yourself this : Do you live for fashion? Or do you let YOUR fashion live though YOU?
