Forever Young S2 Promo Shoot

Firstly I wanna send a special shout to my sister, uSasa aka @SasaTheGal for the hook up. Coz if it wasn't for her, I wouldn't have been at that shoot last night. So thanks a lot and I love you, Sis :)

Last night was AWESOME! Forever Young was doing a promo photo shoot for season 2. This reality show follows the hustling and bustling lives of Lungile Radu, Thomas Gumede and of course Siya Ngwekazi. Most of you know Siya as Scoop but my sister and I know him from waaaaaaay back. He had a different nickname back then. But I won't do that to him! Hahahaha :) Oh! Back to the show. Season 2 will be airing sometime in September and it'll now be on Mzansi Magic. I'm sure we'll all be getting more info from the media. In the meantime, enjoy some pictures I took last night. Not as much as I wanted to capture. But hopefully you'll enjoy them, non the less.

It was also fabulous hanging out with Nosisa ( @nosisawm ) . She's also our childhood friend. The night couldn't have been better. That's what happens when you surround yourself with amazing people!

The Envy Saga!

Whoa! It's such a long story but here goes. You guys know that I'm also a hostess right? Last week Monday, I was asked to work, by Prive Thursdays. At their launch, at Envy Lounge in Sandton. They were asked by Envy to get their own hostesses for the night. I even dropped another gig for that Thursday, coz PT (Prive Thursdays) had promised that I'd get paid R600 for the night.

Ok cool, come Thursday, about 2 hours before the event. I get told by the girl from PT, that Envy has cancelled the hostesses organised by them. Saying that they've organised their own. I was pissed off dudes! But I decided to go, coz my friend had organised dancers for the same event. When I get there, 1 of the Envy hostesses did not pitch up. This girl of PT asks me to stand in. And my friend also convinces me, saying I'd get paid that night. Wow! That was a big mistake!

I didn't get paid that night. Though out the week-end nobody explains to me, what's really going on. Finally I'm told by PT that Envy only pays their hostesses on Tuesdays. And I'm thinking, why the f*ck wasn't I told this, when they were 1 man short? I get the contact details for Envy and I message the manager, as to when I can fetch my R600. This was yesterday hey! He calls me, saying that hostesses only get paid R300!!! And that he knows nothing about my amount. So basically no-one is taking accountability. I even threatened a smear campaign on Twitter. But this was before I got the call from Envy. This manager even mentioned that he heard, that, that's what I'm gonna do. But I said to him, I'm just gonna tell the truth!!!! Coz someone f*cked up and it's not me. I thought I was doing EVERYONE a favour by standing in. This manager says, since I did work, I can come and fetch my money whenever. I told him to keep it, coz this goes beyond a money issue!

Let this be more proof that: NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED!
